The ACCA FIA (Foundation in Accountancy) qualification provides fundamental knowledge and abilities in finance and accounting and is aimed at entry-level accounting certification. It consists of seven exams covering significant subjects in management and financial accounting. After finishing, it offers a route to both the ACCA CAT and professional qualifications.

The MA1 Management Information program provides candidates with an introduction to fundamental costing concepts and methods with the instruments needed to apply them. The first section of the course introduces corporate organizations and the particular function of the management accountant within them.

The exam lasts two hours and consists of fifty-two mark multiple-choice questions.

There are no prerequisites for obtaining the ACCA-FIA qualification. Once you have passed the seven exams, you can apply to get the ACCA qualification.

It is recommended that students take the FA1 and MA1 exams first, then the FA2 and MA2 exams, and lastly the FBT, FMA, and FFA exams.
